Combient Perspectives – How can value chain wide collaboration drive low carbon building?
The construction sector is responsible for 39 % of annual GHG emissions globally, having a pivotal role in the low carbon transition. Many property owners have expressed their high ambitions to decarbonize building portfolios in the next decade, but they lack coherent information on low carbon options and possible solutions to reach their ambitions.
Combient Pure, NCC Finland, Stora Enso and Ramboll have come together to solve this question and support the whole value chain in moving towards low carbon building. Since last summer, a multi-company project team has worked together to understand the concrete actions that are required for the whole value chain to work seamlessly together in offering low carbon material options to end customers. One of the largest emissions sources in buildings is building materials.
